BACKGROUND: As a child, Aideen played among the ruins of the former city of New York. She had a fondness for collecting shiny objects that were strewn about. One day she was confronted by an old woman who claimed to have been traveling to find Edan's Egg, the legendary object that could rebuild their dying world. The lady explained that she was too sick to carry on and needed to pass her one last possession on, which was a gem that held magic-like qualities. Aideen was determined from then on to find said Edan's Egg so that she could help construct the world that the woman had wanted.
